Our mission is to provide integrative, creative care from a prism of honor, reverence, and optimism.
Ezra Kilfoil, LMFT
I have been working with children and families in the mental health field since 1992. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings from group homes, residential facilities, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private practice. I have come to appreciate the variety of challenges we all face from early childhood to late adulthood.
After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Portland State University I moved to California and obtained a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chico State University in 2001. In 2010 I decided to further my education and received a School Counseling degree from Seattle University.
While I have specialized in working with adolescents and their families in a variety of settings, I have been spending more time diversifying into individual and marriage counseling. I am currently a School Counselor at a middle school in Oregon and I see private clients in the evening. I truly enjoy both settings and believe that my experience in multiple settings allows me to provide a more complete frame of reference for individual needs.
I work very hard to create a supportive relationship with my clients, which allows the discussion of difficult and at times traumatic experiences. I recognize the importance of working together to create reasonable and achievable goals. Change can be challenging but I feel we are constantly evolving and with support we can find a way to a happier and healthier life.
On a personal note, I have been married since 2001 and I am the proud father of three children. I love the outdoors and spend as much of my free time as possible enjoying it with my family.
